Erykah Badu Takes Knee for Colin Kaepernick While Hosting Soul Train Awards

Badu took a moment out of her Soul Train Awards set to acknowledge Colin Kaepernick and the sacrifices he has made.

During the opening segment of the Soul Train Awards, host Erykah Badu told the audience, "I know I usually do a big elaborate musical number, but right here I feel I need to do this." That's when Badu took a knee, saying, "This is for Kap. Kap, we appreciate you, for giving your life, giving up your dream, because you believe in us."

People were loving Badu for taking a knee for Kap on a stage like the Soul Train Awards.
