Flau'jae Johnson Wonders Why She Didn't End Up in Latto and Cardi B's Music Video With Angel Reese
The LSU star and rapper previously released her own "Put It on Da Floor" remix.
LSU star guard and rapper Flau'jae Johnson recently opened up about her disappointment in not receiving an invite to appear in Latto's music video for the Cardi B-assisted remix "Put It on Da Floor Again."
Flau'jae told Ferrari Simmons, Su Solo, and You Know BT for The Baller Alert Show that she was in Los Angeles when Latto reached out to her about making a cameo in her upcoming video. The 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year was confident at the time that the two would be able to work something out, but it never happened—for her, at least.
The video for "Put It on Da Floor Again" features an appearance by Offset and Johnson's teammate Angel Reese.

"Her people never hit my people or whatever," she said just before the 28:00 mark above. "But I had seen she had asked Angel before, like a week before. And I was like, 'Okay, maybe she really ain't want me in the video for real but she had to ask me because we had kind of a relationship before. And she put Angel in it."
While she wasn't bothered by the snub because Angel was in the video and made it a "big moment for women's basketball," Flau'jae couldn't help but wonder: "Why wouldn't you put me in it? Like it just makes sense."
Flau'jae went on to mention she also attends LSU and released the viral "Put It on Da Floor" remix "Clickbait." Despite the miscommunication, Johnson hopes to collab with Latto in the future.
