Justin Bieber Reacts to Chris Brown’s Bail Release in England With Support
A London judge granted Brown's release from jail on $6.7 million bail.
Chris Brown has been released from custody in England, and Justin Bieber was among those happy to see him free.
Brown posted a photo of himself stepping off a private jet on Instagram, to which Bieber commented, "welcome home."
While the photo shows Brown walking on the tarmac, it's unclear where the plane landed, as there is some suspicion that the 36-year-old has not yet returned to the United States.
According to AP News, London judge Tony Baumgartner granted Brown's release from jail on $6.7 million bail in exchange for guaranteeing his appearance in court at a future date. The singer was scheduled to appear before a judge on June 13, if he remained behind bars.
Brown's release allows him to kick off his Breezy Bowl XX Tour as planned on June 8 in the Netherlands.
Brown was arrested last week for his alleged involvement in a 2023 nightclub incident, in which the singer is accused of attacking music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle. He was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
HoodyBaby, rapper and associate of Brown, has also been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, but the extent of his involvement remains unknown.
