Trippie Redd Claims Coi Leray Doesn't Want Him to Attend Her Baby Shower

Trippie Redd wanted to set the record straight regarding rumors surrounding Coi Leray's baby shower.

Trippie first took to Instagram Stories where he claimed a baby shower for his and Leray's child has not yet taken place. "Y'all blogs be so childish. My baby ain't have no baby shower...yet," he said. "So, you blogs go run and tell everybody that. Since I'm the worst dad, and I don't show up to baby showers and all that."

Leray was seen attending a party last week, leading people to assume that it was her baby shower.

It was not. Leray clarified that it was actually a party for her friend's birthday.

Her response came after revealing her baby shower was happening sometime this week.

Trippie shared on Monday that, even though the baby shower hasn’t happened yet, Leray does not want him or his family to attend. He claimed he is paying for the event, despite being told to communicate through her lawyer.

"And b4 the actual baby shower happens just letting yall know she doesn’t want me or my family there she said hit the lawyer." he wrote, adding that he's footing the bill for the event.

Things between Coi and Trippie appeared to be rocky during her pregnancy, when the 27-year-old seemed to accuse him of cheating back in January. She doubled down on the allegations in a song teaser later that month, with a nod to her father, Benzino.

Earlier this month, Coi took to Instagram to share maternity shoot photos and reveal she and Trippie are having a girl. "GIRL MOM,” she wrote alongside the series of photos.
