Kodak Black's Ex Arrested After Alleged Brawl Involving Mothers of His Children

Maranda Johnson is accused of assaulting a woman during a birthday party at a Florida nightclub.

Kodak Black’s ex-girlfriend Maranda Johnson is facing another round of criminal charges.

According to WPLG Local 10, the 23-year-old was arrested on Thursday for her alleged involvement in a nightclub brawl with the two other mothers of Kodak’s children. The incident reportedly occurred on Jan. 15 at The Manor, where Kodak, legal name Bill Kahan Kapri, invited “all three mothers of his kids” to celebrate a birthday.

The reunion was far from pleasant, as the women were reportedly “unhappy to see each other” and “started arguing.” Law enforcement said one of the women tried fighting Kodak multiple times during the event before a destructive skirmish ensued.

“(A witness) stated while the mothers were arguing and trying to fight, one of their brothers, (redacted), got involved in the argument and that’s how the entire fight started,” police wrote, per WPLG. “Once (redacted) got involved, so did Kodak Black’s entourage.”

It’s unclear what started the physical altercations, but one of the women told police that Johnson “snatched her wig off her head and punched her in the face." The brawl also caused extensive damage to the venue, including a broken sink, toilet, printer, and computer screen, and more.

Johnson was arrested Thursday on five felony mischief charges and is being held at the Broward Main Jail on a $12,500 bond.

The woman shares two children with Kodak: a daughter named Queen Yuri and a son named Prince. The rapper also has a daughter, Princess Isabella, with Daijanae Ward, as well as a son, King, with Jammiah “Maya” Broomfield.

According to HotNewHipHop, Johnson was arrested in 2024 after an altercation with Broomfield. She was charged with burglary, grand theft, and battery. As pointed out by Grazia, Johnson addressed the incident on the Netflix reality series Wags to Riches.

“[Broomfield] told [Kodak] I touched her car door, opened her car door. The door was already motherfuckin’ open ‘cause she was trying to mace me,” Johnson recalled in an episode. “I kicked the mace out of her hand… I had a feeling was gonna get arrested.”
