The Yuki Chiba-assisted track appeared on the rapper's 2024 self-titled studio album.
Megan Thee Stallion has unleashed the official video for “Mamushi,” the chart-topping bilingual track featuring Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba.
Watch the "Mamushi" video below.
Megan teased the release on social media last month when she shared several behind-the-scenes photos from the video shoot. One image showed the Grammy winner rocking a skin-baring grommet ‘fit that showed off a collection of temporary back tattoos.
The art consisted of flowers and clouds intertwining with several snakes — an animal motif that symbolizes Megan’s new era. She spoke about the references in a previous interview with Forbes 30 Under 30, saying snakes were very prevalent in her self-titled third studio album because “they’re feared, misunderstood, [and] respected.”
“I was inspired to create this album about rebirth because I feel I am becoming a new person physically and mentally,” she told the outlet. “I’ve always struggled to figure out how to be vulnerable and still make music that is going hard at the same time.”
