For reasons that aren't immediately clear, Azealia Banks took to Twitter this morning to diss Hot 97, BET, and other black publications that don't play or support her music, or the music of other talented black women. "Black men are allowed to fuck up, rape people, murder people, have sex with underage people," Banks complained, "and hip-hop will still support their shit." (Here she's presumably referring, at least in part, to recent criticism of Dr. Dre and Tyga.)

In her lengthy rant against "urban magazines" and black broadcast networks, Banks answered criticism from her followers and other onlookers that she caters to white audiences and white, mainstream publications. "WELL," Banks tweeted, "IT HAPPENS TO BE THAT THE WHITE MAN'S MAGAZINE IS THE ONLY ONE ACTUALLY INVITING ME ANYWHERE TO DO ANYTHING."

As far as Hot 97, her hometown hip-hop radio station is concerned, Banks says, "I went and poured my heart out on @hot97... said shit EVERYONE was afraid to say... and they still don't play my music." It now seems unlikely that she'll sit down with morning show hosts Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez again anytime soon.
