People Think Cardi B and Nicki Minaj Are Taking Shots at Each Other on "MotorSport"
Shots fired? Could be, could be not. Who's to say?
Friday morning, the Migos fucked the world up—in a good way—and dropped "MotorSport" with both the hottest in the streets, Cardi B, and the legend Nicki Minaj. It's a blessing we never knew was possible, seeing as Nicki and Cardi have been pitted against each other ever since Cardi started making noise. Despite the fact that they have both said they have no beef with each other (albeit a little awkwardly), the gatekeepers in hip-hop and those on the outside insist on creating a fake rivalry.
And that's exactly what happened after "MotorSport" hit the web:
Honestly? It's not far-fetched. In Cardi's verse, she raps:
Nicki, in turn, finished her verse with a particularly barbed (no pun intended) line:
But if we go back to Cardi's verse, she ends it like this:
While the subs and pettiness in general are hella enticing, I think it's fair enough to say that we should take Cardi at her word. Aside from that, can we just be happy that these badass, talented women are on the same track, spitting flames?
Side-note: people seemed more interested in getting jokes off about Remy, than anything:
