When it comes to celebrity engagements, there’s usually a big reveal, a bigger ring, and a million opinions. The latest to send the internet into a full-on spiral? Dua Lipa and Callum Turner — and yes, there’s already buzz about the ring.

“I’m obsessed with it,” the 29-year-old “One Kiss” singer told British Vogue in an interview published Thursday, June 12. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”

Lipa shared that her new fiancé, 35, worked with her best friends and sister to design the ring just for her. “It’s very exciting,” she added. “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.”

While the award-winning musician didn’t share specifics about the ring’s cut or carat, eagle-eyed fans have spotted what appears to be her engagement ring in recent posts. According to Brides, New York–based jeweler Susie Saltzman estimated that the piece “most likely cost $65,000 to $85,000 on the low end and $125,000 on the high end."

After news broke of the engagement, it didn’t take long for the internet to weigh in.

“Yeah you go girl… the way Dua Lipa is the only pop girl with the most handsome guy in the world certain girlies needs to take notes,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“Callum lucked out, dua’s the whole package, omgg i’m so happy for them!” another said.

“IM SOBBING,” chimed in a third.

“Love these two together — congrats Callum and Dua!” someone else added.

As for when Lipa will say “I do”? Don’t expect a wedding date anytime soon.

“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” the chart-topper told the outlet. “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”

The couple first sparked romance rumors in early 2024 after being spotted slow dancing at the Masters of the Air afterparty in London.
