Blueface's mother, Karlissa Saffold, set the record straight after fake photos depicting the jailed rapper doing the splits surfaced online, calling them "AI"-generated.

The images, originally posted by @funnyhoodvidz, show Blueface striking an exaggerated pose where he appears to be doing the splits in prison. Saffold wasn't buying it.

The photos went viral with people thinking they were real, but Saffold hopped into the comments to shut it all down, writing, "That's not my son's skinny lil [sic] that's AI but go off." She doubled down by sharing a Tracy Morgan "NOPE" gif and addressing the issue on her Instagram Story.

In one post, Saffold reshared a post from No Jumper and added, "They hate I love my babies after they tried to lie and say I was the worse mother ever." In another, she addressed Blueface's ex, Jaidyn Alexis.

"You know this ain't the man you was in love with yo whole life," Saffold said.

The viral, fake photos appear to have been inspired by recent images that Blueface himself uploaded from prison earlier this week. In his own post, the "Thotiana" rapper shared a trio of photos where he looks bulky and sports new tattoos.

"This is not a 50/50 yard," he captioned the shots, which feature him staring into the camera, looking off in the distance, and posing with fellow inmates. The 28-year-old is currently serving a four-year sentence at North Kern State Prison in central California for violating his probation in connection with assault charges he received in 2021.
