Jacquees Says He Didn't Expect to Get Into a Physical Altercation With Trey Songz, Claims He Beat Him
Earlier this year, Jacquees accused Trey Songz of ripping out his dreads during a physical fight they got into in Dubai.
Jacquees has shed some light on the fight between himself and Trey Songz earlier this year and claimed he actually won.
During a recent interview with Akademiks on Off The Record, the singer recalled the squabble he had with Trey Songz and regretted how it played out. Jacquees made it clear, despite their issues, that he still has "love" for Trey and never thought they would come to actual blows.
"I love my brother you hear me, we got into a fight," said Jacquees. "I went online, bro, because I was hurt. That was our first fight. I was really hurt. Hurt because I been around Trey since I was 15, 16 I never expected us to fight physically, verbally is different than physical fighting."
Jacquees added that we won the fight and that Trey didn't really do real damage by pulling out his locs. According to Jacquees, the only reason why his hair came out is because they weren't securely fastened to his scalp at the time so any kind of pulling movement would take them out. He also said he was wrong for putting his family and business in the public like that.
"I ain't even going to get on here like I said I beat my brother. I won, ain't going to lie. Listen, it was a tie," he said.
Back in February, Jacquees changed his tune when he called Songz out over their fight. He took to Instagram with a post in which he shared a photo of three loose locs while claiming Songz wasn't allowed in Atlanta and deeming Chris Brown the greatest of all time.
"I want the world to know this bitch-ass n***a Trey Songz is a bitch," he said. "Period. This n***a's a bitch, bro. This n***a came in the club talking about rape. Fuck you talking about rape for, bitch-ass n***a? Then you come outside the club and swing on your 'lil brother. You's a bitch, Chris Brown the goat. ... Fuck you, bitch-ass n***a, you a rapist, bitch."
