Kodak Black Drops 'Gift for the Streets' f/ Lil Yachty, BG, C Murder
This is the third project Kodak released in two months.
Kodak Black has released another project titled Gift for the Streets, this time for the Christmas season, and it comes with a load of features including Lil Yachty, Rob49, C-Murder, Juvenile, BG, and more. Listen here.
The album was released on Christmas Day and follows up Kodak's last two projects, Dieuson Octave and Trill Bill, both of which were released last month. Standout tracks include "Shit Show," where Kodak shows his darkside while Veeze and Yachty accompany him in reveling in their riches.
On "Same Altima," fans get a mini Hot Boys reunion with Juvenile and BG linking up with Kodak for a track about living through poverty, paranoia, punishment, and penitentiary visions. The New Orleans connection doesn't stop there, as Kodak also collaborated with C-Murder on "Penitentiary."
Kodak is showing fans he's keeping busy in the studio after having a year full of ups and downs. One of the most talked about moments was Kodak claiming he would get sober, only to later say during a livestream that he's never been sober.
"Bitch, I ain't sober. I look sober? I'm never sober, bitch," he said after reading a comment out loud. "For what? Look at this money. Look at all this cash. Sober for what? I'm too young to die sober."
Kodak has been trying to get his act together when it comes to his drug use. Fans got worried when he appeared to take a pill during an appearance on the popular streamer's Mafiathon 2 event.
