Meek Mill Raps Over Drake and Kendrick Lamar Diss Track Instrumentals
Meek recorded himself running errands while previewing his new freestyles on Instagram.
Meek Mill decided to get some practice by rapping over the instrumentals of two songs released by Drake and Kendrick Lamar during their historic hip-hop feud.
On Monday, the Philly rapper shared a post on his Instagram Story where he rapped over Kendrick Lamar's "Euphoria," the first official diss track Kendrick released aimed at Drake back in April. In his freestyle, Meek discussed his street credibility during the first part of Lamar's instrumentals.
"We ain't playing no roles or doing no shootings, but we make movies happen / When I'm in the trenches, I tote that extension it came with the Uzi package / I want a rock don't give me no feds n***a I want a Glock," Meek raps.
Shortly after sharing that video, another clip of Meek surfaced online spitting bars over Drake's third Kendrick diss track, "Family Matters." In that freestyle, Meek rapped about taking his son to Target dressed in lavish clothing and jewelry while constantly spending money.
"I be putting on Celine, Rick, and Marni just to take my son to Target / They want to turn me into a target, instead of turning, I'm starving / All of a sudden n***a's stomach turning cause the money burning and we ballin," he raps.
Aside from these freestyles, Meek has been relatively quiet regarding the beef between Drizzy and Kendrick. In May, he shouted out both men in a series of posts, where he also shared that he didn't have a publicist to check his posts.
"My PR has been off for a year or 2 so they mutating my name but when I'm gone they will give it up!Imajustkeep grinding![The] boy and Kendrick have their own lanes and qualities they great at also," Meek tweeted.
