Gunna did not snitch on Young Thug to get out of jail early, according to YSL co-founder Mondo.

Earlier this week, Mondo posted an Instagram Story where he admitted being wrong for claiming Gunna snitched on Thug to obtain a plea deal in the YSL Rico case.

"I'm man enough to say I should've never spoken about the Gunna situation because technically he didn't rat," Mondo wrote on Instagram. "He just kinda folded under pressure & should've just stayed down with his mans till everything was over cause all the originals know he ain't did nothing wasn't even around from the beginning."

He continued to explain that someone else told on Young Thug, "So he wasn't going to do no real time regardless I feel bad cause now a n***a who literally is a real live rat running around the city getting glorified & smiling like he ain't just send multiple n***as to jail. I was so mad & hurt at the same time that my brother going through this shit after he turned a lot of n***as up.

"That's the only reason I started talking about Gunna but I'm a real n-gga in real life. Ain't no mystery in my history. I'm not afraid to say when I was wrong & saying Gunna is a rat was dead ass wrong but I can't take nothing back. I just got to stand on whaat I said & take whatever comes with it."

Mondo also thanked Gunna for continuing to rep YSL and releasing his last two albums through the record label. He claimed the industry has blackballed him due to his ties to the streets, and he's grateful that Gunna is keeping the YSL name up in a way that he can't.

Gunna has been receiving praise from others close to Thug, such as the rapper's father who said he had love for the Wunna rapper. According to Thug's father, Gunna hadn't done anything to hurt Thugger's ongoing case.

"I love Gunna," said Jeffery Williams Sr. last year. "Let me try to help the attorney clarify that a little simpler. Gunna hasn't done anything whatsoever that can hurt us on this case. Period."
