Soulja Boy was hit with a $4 million tab in the verdict of his sexual battery lawsuit, and he's looking to fight back with an appeal.

On Thursday, a jury ordered Soulja to pay $4.25 million to a woman who said she was his personal assistant and accused him of sexual battery and assault in 2021.

According to the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Big Draco will also be paying $250,000 in punitive damages.

The jurors found him liable for the accusations, including intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment, and gender violence. The verdict came after the accuser's legal team asked the court to award her $73.5 million in compensatory damages.

Soulja gave his thoughts on the verdict while he was on his way out of the Santa Monica courtroom. In his statement, Soulja expressed his discontent with the jury's decision.

"Today, I stand before you, deeply disappointed in the verdict delivered in my case," Soulja said as he read the statement on his phone. "I firmly believe that the decision made in court was not based on facts or substantial evidence but rather on factors that were outside of my control. The truth was overshadowed by the involvement of individuals such as the jury who are not present during the events in question, and I feel that the system allows external influences to shape the outcome."

Soulja added that the trial was an "unequal playing field," as his accuser was allowed to be named Jane Doe while he had to face "public scrutiny." He also claimed the whole process of the trial was "tainted" and not designed to protect the rights of the accused.

The Atlanta native then looked into the camera and said, "I want to make it clear that I'm innocent." To close out his statement, Soulja said he is committed to filing an appeal and fighting for the truth to be revealed in the case.
