Jane Doe Says Diddy Made Her Sleep With Other Men for Days in Emotional Testimony: ‘So Lonely’
The anonymous alleged victim often broke down in tears when recounting her three-plus year relationship with the mogul.
Jane Doe's second day on the stand in Sean "Diddy" Combs' sex trafficking and racketeering trial found the pseudonymous alleged victim recounting her allegations of how she wanted to spend quality time with the man she loved throughout their three-plus year relationship — but that instead, he continually pressured her into near-constant bouts of drug-fueled, sometimes days-long sex sessions with male escorts, while he watched.
Those sessions, which another ex of Combs', Cassie Ventura, called "freak-offs" throughout her testimony earlier in the case, were referred to as "hotel nights" by Jane since, up until the last few months of her relationship with Combs, they almost exclusively took place in hotels.
Jane testified that the hotel nights usually involved multiple "rounds" of foreplay, oral sex, and intercourse with an escort, and several escorts over the course of the night. The experiences could, she claimed, last anywhere between 12 hours to over three days, and she wouldn't be permitted to sleep. They happened, she said, "sometimes every week, every other week" from May 2021 until their several-months-long (but not final) breakup in October, 2023. Jane claimed the hotel nights left her with near-constant, and sometimes back-to-back, UTIs.
Throughout their relationship, Jane said, Diddy would dangle promises of vacations or quality one-on-one time, only to inevitably change course and insist on hotel nights once they were actually together.
She recalled one occasion that she thought would be a date night with just the two of them. But then, she testified, Combs said he wanted to invite an "entertainer," but just for "a little bit."
"And I hung onto those words of 'just a little bit,' meaning that it could be just something quick," she said. "And what was something quick ended up just being 18 hours of that. I remember it was like three rounds with this guy, and at the very end, I remember Sean saying he had to leave. And I was so high and feeling so lonely and sad...and I just started crying."
Jane told a similar story centered around her birthday in 2023. She said she was promised one-on-one time, but then during their dinner at Nobu, Combs mentioned bringing in an escort.
"I just accepted it," she explained. "I remember at this point in our relationship this had become so routine that I was in my same rhythm, almost robotically."
Jane described one particular hotel night where she insisted the escort wear a condom, and she said that Combs got extremely upset. The courtroom got to hear audio of that event.
"What you want?" asks Combs on the recording.
"Condoms," Jane replies.
"Ain't no condoms around here," Combs says.
"Who agreed to that?" Jane asks.
"You were just taking that dick," Combs says, a reference to the fact that Jane had already had unprotected sex with the escort earlier in the night.
"You promised me," Jane says.
"I don't like to do it with all that shit," Combs responds. "If you don't touch yourself right now...stop playing."
After hearing that recording, Jane was asked by prosecutor Maureen Comey, "Why did you feel like you needed permission from Sean to have the man who was having sex with your body wear a condom?"
"I don't know. I'm just still trying to process even that," she responded, while breaking down in tears.
The court got to hear Jane read Notes App messages she had written to herself at various points, reflecting on her feelings about Combs and their relationship — mostly about how she felt he had repeatedly lied to her.
In one February 2023 note, addressed (but not sent) to Combs, she called him a "pathological liar."
Towards the end of the day, Diddy's defense team objected to the use of this note in evidence. Comey defended it, saying that "in order to prove sex trafficking by fraud, we have to prove that the lie was material... [T]his note shows in her mind she felt she had been lied to, and it was material enough that she wrote it down repeatedly."
Sex trafficking is one of the crimes Diddy is charged with in this case.
Jane's testimony continues on Monday, and her cross-examination is projected to take up a good part of next week.
