A Fan Won Freddie Gibbs & Madlib's 'Piñata' Album by Breaking a Real Piñata

A savvy fan won Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’sPiñata album by breaking open a real zebra piñata in Los Angeles today. Rappcats posted that the zebra was hanging from a tree and inside, was an advanced copy of the album, candy and "other mysterious objects."

According to the instructions: "There’s a stick on the ground below the piñata. First person to get there and beat the thing open gets to keep whatever falls out. Have fun, take a photo, and please clean up after yourself."

The pinata was broken at 2:25pm PST. See photos of the remains below. For the rest of us, the album is out March 18.
