Freddie Gibbs Fails as 2Pac-Referencing Comedian in Sketch Accompanying New HUF Capsule Collection
Titled "After Dark We Really Come to Life," the new collaboration features casino-inspired pieces.
Freddie Gibbs takes a stab at being a comedian in a new HUF campaign, but fails miserably as he tries a lukewarm 2Pac joke.
"I wanted to be like 2Pac when I was coming up, you know? I was gonna call myself 1Pac," he said, only to be met with silence and one bored heckler. "'Cause I wanted to be No. 1, even though he's 2Pac, and I was gonna kinda be, like, the second version of a 'Pac. We was both gonna be 'Pacs."
He's met with boos, and finally a "Freddie, you suck!"
The comedy sketch promotes Gibbs and the streetwear brand's collaborative capsule collection, which is set to drop May 25 at 9 a.m. PT. Titled "After Dark We Really Come to Life," the line features casino-inspired pieces, a vibe Freddie showed his love for in the $oul $old $eparately era.
