6ix9ine’s home in Florida was reportedly raided by federal probation officers and local law enforcement agents this week, with the search allegedly leading to the Blackballed artist being cuffed for hours.

As first reported by TMZ, the raid is said to have taken place on Wednesday, with 6ix9ine alleging that drugs and unspecified drugs were taken during the search. 6ix9ine also claims that he was cuffed for roughly six hours as feds searched the property, at one point taking DNA samples from him. However, he was not arrested.

When reached by Complex on Thursday, a rep for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) confirmed that the agency’s Narcotics Division “stood by” during Wednesday’s search. Further details were not provided. Complex has also reached out to U.S. Probation officials for comment. This story may be updated.

In the TMZ report, a PBSO rep is quoted as saying that a search warrant was executed at 6ix9ine’s Florida home, during which federal officers confiscated various items as part of what they described as part of the probation process. Confiscated items, per the report, have not been directly linked to 6ix9ine at this time, though additiona testing is said to be taking place.

The PBSO rep quoted in the report did not specify the nature of the confiscated items, meaning 6ix9ine’s allegation of firearms and drugs being taken remains unconfirmed at this time.

News of the raid (which isn't the first for 6ix9ine) comes after it was announced that an IRS auction of multiple pieces previously owned by 6ix9ine, platinum plaques and high-dollar accessories among them, brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars.

As for music, 6ix9ine last popped up for the aforementioned Blackballed album, released in January of last year and featuring a somewhat controversial appearance from Kodak Black on the closing track.
