Fans of the word “responds” and related variants are in for a real treat with this one. The artist formerly known as Kanye West’s recent response to Cam’ron saying that he and R. Kelly were both putting “a stain” on Chicago has spurred a fresh response from Cam, who largely opted to laugh off the remarks. The response in question, expectedly, arrives on the latest episode of the It Is What It Is podcast, which routinely finds Cam and co-host Mase playfully responding to all manner of recent news developments alongside Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson.

Right at the top of the new episode, as seen below, Cam joked that Mase should “get your son under control,” prompting Mase to jokingly suggest that he’s going to “have a talk with” Ye but wasn’t outright disowning him, at least “not just yet.”

Asked if he had heard the latest from Ye, Cam confirmed that he had, leading to this latest response to a response which itself was also a response. Unlike Cam's prior remarks, which were couched with him arguing that his criticism wasn't rooted in homophobic, he took a different approach this time around.

“Yeah, that’s why I’m talking to you because I don’t usually talk to n***as who suck dick,” Cam told Mase. “Once they suck dick, I don’t go back. I don’t wanna go back and forth once you admit you suck dick. That’s just me.”

This, of course, is a reference to Ye’s recent confession of allegedly having “sucked my cousin’s dick ’til I was 14.” In a prior episode of It Is What It Is, Cam and Mase both appeared to question the veracity of this claim due to its timing.

As for the newest episode, it also saw Mase joking that they’ve now entered “uncharted territory” with this topic, with Stat Baby later chiming in to read Ye’s recent Cam-focused remarks verbatim. Ultimately, Cam and Mase, after sending out a few more joking remarks, decided to “leave it alone” for now.

In a recent X update, Ye, whose next album may or may not end up being titled WW3 or Cuck, offered a “fuck you” to Cam, although he also referred to him as “a god.” In the same X update, Ye also bragged about his “$2 million Dipset belt,” presumably the same one caught up in Jim Jones and Ye coverage from January of this year.
