Coldplay frontman Chris Martin couldn't help but joke about the presumed couple's apparent predicament.

A pair of Coldplay enthusiasts appeared to be quite uncomfortable with the realization that they were seen hugging up on each other thanks to a fan cam at a recent show.

Who is the couple that was caught on camera at the Coldplay show?

Footage that has since gone wildly viral shows the two, whose identities have not yet been confirmed (despite widespread but unverified speculation on social media), engaged in what many would describe as canoodling. As the two start to realize they are indeed on camera, they suddenly break away from each other, prompting Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to playfully chime in on the mic with some commentary.

“Oh, look at these two,” he’s heard saying. “Alright, come on. You’re okay. Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”

Coldplay is currently out on the road with their Music of the Spheres World Tour. The viral video making the rounds Thursday morning, seemingly, stems from the band’s Wednesday night set in Boston. Aside from what’s heard in the clip, neither Martin nor the band appears to have further addressed the chatter.

In another clip from a different angle, seemingly showing the seconds immediately after the fan cam moment, Martin can be heard remarking “Oh shit, I hope we didn’t do something bad” before moving the show along.

Next for Martin and the boys are shows in Madison, Nashville, Miami, and more. As we already told you earlier this month, this isn’t the first headlines-spawning moment from Coldplay’s ongoing stadium tour.
