Joey Badass kicked off the week by delivering another diss-filled new track, complete with a lyric that’s sure to boost Vlad-related Googlings.

“My Town,” featuring Loaded Lux, arrived on Monday and finds Joey mocking Daylyt’s “thirst for attention” as “sad.” Daylyt, as previously reported, recently shared a photo of the late Capital Steez amid his and Joey’s ongoing beef, though it wasn’t immediately clear whether the photo was intended as a response to Joey’s then-recent diss.

“Nothing you could say could take away that sus shit you said on Vlad,” Joey raps on the new “My Town” track. “I would say, I'mma get on your ass, but you might like that.”

A 2014 Vlad TV video sees Daylyt discussing Diddy, who’s currently on trial in his federal sex trafficking and racketeering case. Specifically, Daylyt, who was clearly trolling at the time, said he wanted to “fuck the shit out of Diddy,” which he said was the impetus behind a “movement” he was starting.

“Would I fuck Diddy? Yeah,” Daylyt said in the 2014 clip. “I’d fuck Diddy. I’m not gonna front I’d fuck the shit out of Diddy. I’m just keeping it a buck. Like, why not? Diddy’s attractive. Get him off a bottle of Cîroc, a shot of Cîroc. He got plenty of Cîroc. Get him fucked up. I’ll fuck. I actually got a website. I’m about to start a movement. It’s called I Wanna Fuck P. Diddy Movement.”

This isn’t the first mention of Diddy in the beef. Joey himself, notably, mentioned the so-called “freak-offs” that have been covered extensively since Diddy’s 2024 arrest, rapping during an appearance on Red Bull 1520's Spiral Freestyle series that he was “at the party but I never seen a freak-off.”

Elsewhere on “My Town,” Joey nods to Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s 2024-dominating feud and declares himself “the BK Batman.” Listen above.
