Justin Bieber: 'Standing on Business Gets Tiring'
The 'SWAG'-defining vulnerability continues.
Justin Bieber, whose SWAGiverse was further expanded last week with the release of a Cole Bennett-directed video for “YUKON,” is continuing the vulnerability-driven social media approach that helped define one of the most compelling rollouts in quite some time.
“Standing on business gets tiring,” Bieber captioned an Instagram update on Monday, adding that he was “going to bed.” This, of course, marks the latest nod to a phrase that has become deeply interwoven with the SWAG era. On the album itself, Druski appears on a skit in which he and Bieber discuss his use of the phrase in a viral paparazzi video.
The IG post featured two screenshots from an apparent SKYLRK-focused group chat, with Bieber, seemingly, replying to a question about the look of the moon on an unspecified night.
“Send pics,” the conversation reads, in part. “I’m in bed. Headache. Tired emotionally, and physically. Tomorrow gonna be a great day.”
In another screenshot shared around the same time, seen below, Bieber, seemingly, spoke of wanting to “grow in gratitude” while also doing the same “in selflessness.” Passion, faith, wonder, and love were also given some screentime from the two-time Grammy winner.
I’ve gone on and on about it, perhaps to the point of annoyance for some readers, but let it be said again that this chapter of Bieber’s storied artistic journey has arguably been his most exciting and rewarding yet. On SWAG, he sounds freer and more confident than ever, complete with collaborations that tap into the strengths of Mk.gee and Eddie Benjamin, among others.
It seems likely—very likely, actually—that we’ll hear SWAG called out as among the nominees for Album of the Year in November when 2026 Grammy nominees are unveiled. In the meantime, take a ride in a “YUKON” below.
ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
