The public ending of the artist formerly known as Kanye West’s feud with Drake gets a reflective mention on Kendrick Lamar’s new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

In the Sampha-featuring Disc 1 track “Father Time,” Kendrick briefly cites the quashed feud by remarking that its end left him “slightly confused.” In the very next line, Kendrick ponders what this initial reaction could mean in terms of maturity and healing:
