Soulection’s Special 'Live From F1 in Abu Dhabi' Episode Now Available
"I can see why it's one of the biggest sports in the world," Soulection co-founder Joe Kay previously told Complex.
As promised, the special episode of Soulection Radio recorded live from Abu Dhabi at the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has been released.
You can listen right now via Apple Music, while the episode will also be making its way to Soulection’s SoundCloud later this week. The episode was made possible by Soulection co-founder and DJ Joe Kay’s set at the F1 Garage afterparty earlier this month, with the proceedings resulting in a “two-hour journey” boasting some key records from the past 12 months of the long-running Apple Music show.
“I don't know if I've been around a sport where I've seen this much passion in some time,” Kay previously told Complex of his experience. “So it's been really good to be around. You see a lot of people from different walks of life. There's people from all over the world. It's really a global sport. I can see why it's one of the biggest sports in the world."
The episode opens with E.Clips3’s “Uber in Kingston” before Kay later tucks in over two hours of music including works by Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Leon Thomas, and Mbuso de Mbazo. Soulection Radio's year has also boasted a special Neptunes tribute episode, a Rosey Gold takeover, and more.
