The Game Comments on Video Showing Him Almost Falling at Wedding: 'Nothing to See Here'
As Game explained, he "did the James Brown and wiggled up out" of the situation.
The Game has issued a reminder on the important distinction between merely tripping and full-fledged falling after footage of him at a wedding was pointed to as an example of the latter.
The video shows the Drillmatic artist walking down the aisle at Kid Red’s wedding, with the initially shared clip strongly suggesting an unfortunately timed fall. A longer video shared later provides a bit more context, namely that Game is seen making a successful nick-of-time move that ultimately keeps this all squarely in trip territory.
According to Game, who later left a comment on an XXL Instagram post about the trip-not-fall incident, he "slipped on the wet roses" but quickly found a way to avoid hitting the ground. In short, he "did the James Brown and wiggled up out" the would-be fall.
"Nothing to see here," Game joked.
Earlier this month, Game teased an upcoming third entry in his The Documentary franchise. If current plans hold, the album will arrive early next year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original entry in the series, 2005’s The Documentary. Game's most recent album, 2022's Drillmatic, saw him working with Ye on the headlines-spurring single "Eazy."
