Young Thug’s Dad Slams Fulton County D.A.'s Office as 'Piece of Sh*t'
Jeffery Williams Sr., also known as “Big Jeff,” says justice will only continue with an overhauled D.A.’s office.
Young Thug’s father is calling for an overhaul of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, which he likens to a “piece of shit.”
Speaking with reporters on Tuesday following the verdicts for two more YSL RICO case defendants, the Punk artist’s father, Jeffery Williams Sr., said there are “no regrets” regarding the path his son took in connection with the widely questioned case. Per Williams, his son “did what he felt like he wanted to do” by taking a plea deal, resulting in his release in October.
“He’s doing great, honestly,” Williams told reporters, per a video shared by 11Alive. “We still fighting. It’s not over for us.”
Asked to elaborate, Williams said he has “another son and a grandson” that were both arrested. From there, Williams was asked about his prior critical remarks about the D.A.’s office behind the case. Leading the office since 2021, notably, is former South Fulton judge Fani Willis.
“I still feel the same way about the D.A.’s office,” Williams, wearing a Courtney Kramer hat, told reporters. “It’s a piece of shit. You know, we gotta get those people out of there. If we wanna continue to have justice, we gotta get ‘em out of there, alright?”
Williams has remained vocal throughout the lengthy legal proceedings, which earlier into the process spurred concerns over the use of lyrics in a court setting. He has also spoken out in defense of Gunna’s Alford plea in the case, the circumstances of which have been widely misconstrued on social media.
