Following the release of his first new verse since being freed from Fulton County custody, Young Thug is offering some clarity on a specific lyric from the track.

As previously reported, Thug joins Future on Lil Baby’s new song “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber,” which appears on Baby’s WHAM album. Thug shows up for the track’s second verse, which at one point sees him laying out his overseas-focused sexual preferences. Immediately, however, Thug concedes that “U.S. bitches” are also “kinda bad,” a line that was apparently misunderstood by some listeners.

"Only fuckin' overseas shit
These U.S. bitches kinda bad
College bitch, I made her leave her frat
Fucked my brother, gave the bitch a pass"

Thug later offered some clarity on the line in question, emphasizing that he meant “bad girls” in a complimentary way.

“Not ugly girls,” the Punk artist pointed out. “We got the prettiest girls on Earth.”

Just before his verse kicks in on the track, Thug nods to his recent release following a lengthy RICO trial in Georgia. For Thug, the case, which has generated extensive media attention since an indictment was first revealed in May 2022, ended with news of a plea deal in October of last year. In the new Future and Baby song, Thug declares “King Spider back,” adding that he doesn’t “even believe I was locked up, for real.”

For some time now, Thug has been romantically linked to fellow Atlantan Mariah the Scientist. During a podcast interview with Angel Reese last September, Mariah expressed her “love” for Thug, who at the time remained in custody.

“I love my man, yes,” she said. “I love him.”
