50 Cent thought that he was being pranked when he first met Eminem.
Fif’s episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game is finally out and, in it, he discusses what it was like to meet the hip-hop legend for the first time.
“It was wild. Remember that show they had, Punk’d? I thought they had cameras and they was gonna come out and say, ‘You’ve been punk’d,” said Fif.
He then explained what their first meeting was like. “He flew me to LA, I came out. I was so bugged out from the experience that I came through the airport with the [bulletproof] vest and shit on.”
“I get there, he’s like, ‘Yo!’ Hugs me, feel the vest and shit and was like [shocked expression]. [I said,] ‘Yo, this is going to be the biggest shit ever, right?’ He’s like, ‘Yo, so excited.’ It made me question whether what was happening was right,” continued Fif. “It felt so good that it couldn’t be right.”
Elsewhere in Fif’s interview, he spoke on everything from Desiigner to Dame Dash. Of the “Panda” rapper, Fif revealed that he had the chance to sign him but ultimately passed because he didn’t have any other music besides “Panda.”
"Had him at the office, I'm like, 'Yo, so, let me hear the other records you got.'" Fif then made an expression to suggest that Desiigner didn’t have anything else. "I said, 'That's it?'" he continued. "And the shit was so hot that he had, I was struggling. And I was like, 'Nah, I can't give that n***a that money, let them give him whatever they're gonna give him.'"
In a clip from his episode that dropped before the entire video did, Fif spoke on his long-running beef with Rick Ross. “Nothing else works for him outside of mentioning me,” said Fif. “When things get bad, he mentions me.”
