Cardi B and Offset Come Together to Celebrate Their Son’s Birthday Despite Ongoing Divorce
The two threw a party together for Wave's big day.
Cardi B and Offset reunited recently to celebrate their son Wave’s third birthday amidst their divorce proceedings.
Earlier this weekend, the estranged couple had a birthday party for the son they share together, and they were both in attendance. In a series of videos, they can be seen dancing and enjoying the festivities. Offset himself uploaded footage showing Cardi having a good time with her son in her arms.
Last month, Cardi came to Offset’s defense after an article surfaced claiming that the rapper wasn’t fully present for her in the midst of her third pregnancy.
"Ok this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids," Cardi wrote in an Instagram comment responding to the article. "Never in my career no matter that I went through I had friends or family go to the media sooo I don't know who is this damn source going to People Magazine..."
"Even wit my filing I'm not askin for child support my claim is for him to only pay bills he already pays on the kids and the new one,” she continued.
In a post confirming her pregnancy last month, Cardi went public about getting a divorce as well as celebrating a “new beginning.”
“With every ending comes a new beginning!" Cardi wrote in an Instagram caption. "I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
“I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!” she added. “It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!"
