Last January, Drake channeled the swagger of early 2000’s Cam’ron when he adorned the legendary rapper’s iconic pink jacket on stage at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. Thanks to an unearthed behind-the-scenes video posted to 100gigs.org, we know exactly how Drizzy felt before putting it on.

The video captures Drake receiving the jacket packaged in a box. As he gets it out of its casing, he’s on the phone with (what sounds like) Cam as he goes into 100% fanboy mode.

“This needs to be in a museum right here,” says Drake, looking at the jacket. Once he finds the massive headband that completes the look, he practically transports back in time.

“I grew up staring at this jacket,” he said. “I can feel the beef. I feel like I hate HOV right now.

Drake’s, of course, referring to Cam’s beef with Jay-Z in the early aughts. After Jay-Z deleted Cam’s verse from “One For Peedi Crakk,” Cam deleted Jay-Z’s verse from the “Oh Boy (Remix)."

Several diss songs and more than a decade later, the two mended their differences and Cam’ron performed at Jay-Z’s show in 2019 at NYC’s Terminal 5.

Drake’s unboxing video of Cam’s timeless jacket is just one clip out of 100 gigabytes of content released today.

It started when Drake revealed three new surprise tracks from an Instagram account named @plottttwistttttt that he appears to have had tucked into his back pocket for a while. Those three tracks were “It’s Up” with 21 Savage, “Housekeeping Knows” with Latto, and “Blue Green Red."

These songs also came with the reveal of a website called 100gigs.org that consists of a massive bunch of files that give glimpses into Drake’s life — from looking at chickens cross a road and lounging in the studio, to recording a reference track for Ye (“Yikes”) and explaining the story of how “Hotline Bling” came about.

“We just finished fucking and her phone would be blowing up, so I saved her as ‘Hotline Bling,’” he said in one of the videos. Drake also revealed that he considered putting Future on the song.
