Lizzo chopped it up with Yung Miami live on stream about recent comments the latter made about her weight on the Club Shay Shay podcast.

Lizzo called Yung Miami after learning about her mentioning Lizzo’s weight while speaking with Shannon Sharpe—particularly her using the word “eww” to describe Lizzo's body. Once Lizzo got the rapper on the phone, Yung Miami clarified that she didn’t have any ill-meaning towards her and was simply referring to how the internet would talk about her weight before she got rid of it.

“Before you lost the weight, people would be like she should lose weight, she too fat, that shit not cute, that’s what I was pertaining to,” explained Yung Miami.

After hearing what the rapper meant, Lizzo continued to press. “I thought you were saying I was too little,” explained Lizzo. Sensing the misunderstanding, Yung Miami expressed that she was actually referring to Lizzo’s critics who post about her body no matter what she does.

“Everybody says you look good, but then you have the five percent that say she looks better fat,” said Yung Miami. “You can’t make nobody happy and they always got something to say when it comes to women’s bodies.”

Yung Miami’s Club Shay Shay appearance was filled with other surprising tidbits — specifically the fact that she’s okay with her partner cheating once in a while, Yung Miami told Shannon Sharpe. “Everybody cheat. Women cheat too," she said.

Yung Miami went on to elaborate on her stance. “Hear me out. I hate to say this but men cheat. All men cheat,” she explained. “You have to get to that point where you’re grown enough to just say OK. I’m not gonna leave my man for cheating once. I might give him like four times.”
