Shannon Sharpe on Yung Miami Allowing Cheating: 'I Might Have to Get Your Number'
She's cool with her partner cheating four times.
Shannon Sharpe might be ready to shoot his shot at Yung Miami after hearing her stance on cheating in a relationship.
Yung Miami recently appeared on the Club Shay Shay podcast where she explained that she’s willing to forgive her partner for cheating — but only a few times. “I’ll give him a second chance,” she said. “Everybody cheat. Women cheat too.”
After Sharpe was shocked at her response, they discussed how often men and women cheat — and then Yung Miami doubled down on her stance.
“Hear me out. I hate to say this but men cheat. All men cheat,” she explained. “You have to get to that point where you’re grown enough to just say OK. I’m not gonna leave my man for cheating once. I might give him like four times.”
After hearing how much leeway he’d have to fool around, Sharpe told her how he felt. “I might have to get your number,” he joked.
Elsewhere in the interview, Yung Miami explained the advice that 50 Cent gave her about acting. While recalling her cameo role on BMF, Yung Miami said that FIf encouraged her to ignore the haters.
Although the rapper found the experience "fun," she admitted she was "nervous" due to playing "such a serious role." The character of Deanna had a confrontation with Meech (Demetrius 'Lil Meech' Flenory Jr.), who revealed that her partner was killed.
"I try to like tap into reality, like I said, like losing my child's father. My tears were real, but the emotion just [wasn't there]," Yung Miami said, referring to her son's father, Jai Malik Wiggins Jr., being killed in a fatal shooting in 2020.
Miami claimed that she had 15 takes but initially didn't want her scenes to appear in the episode until she had a conversation with Fif about them.
"I said, 'Fifty, I don't like this, it was horrible. Like, please don't put me out there like that. I don't wanna face no more backlash,'" Yung Miami recalled. "He was like, 'You gotta start from somewhere, this putting you in a game. People always have something to say. You gotta start from somewhere.”
"'Get out your head, stop worrying about what the people gonna say,'" she continued. 'Like, this is gonna open doors for you.'"
