Snoop Dogg Reveals His Dream Collab That Could 'Save Humanity' During ComplexCon
He explained who he would pick at a live taping of 'Drink Champs' with Dr. Dre at ComplexCon Las Vegas.
Snoop Dogg revealed who his dream collaboration would be at ComplexCon in Las Vegas during a live episode of Drink Champs.
Drink Champs host N.O.R.E. asked Snoop the ultimate hypothetical — if he could make a song that would change the world and save humanity, who would produce the song and who would be featured on it?
Snoop took a second to think about his answer before clarifying if he could pick anyone alive or dead. Then, he explained his choice of producer — or rather, producers. “Dr. Dre and Quincy Jones,” Snoop announced.
Next, Snoop revealed who he’d love to collaborate with on the song itself. “You said save humanity right, and change the world?” Snoop asked. “Gotta get Marvin Gaye.” Snoop then relayed his excitement at the thought of having. Dre, Quincy Jones, and Marvin Gaye all in the same room.
Elsewhere in the same interview, Snoop, Dre, and the hosts of Drink Champs discussed whether they think Stevie Wonder can actually see. "On everything I love, Stevie Wonder does FaceTime me," Snoop said. "I can't make this shit up. I was in there chilling, getting my hair done with my hair and my phone and my hairstylist is like, ‘Did that say Stevie Wonder?’ I said, yep. I went boop and he was like, ’N***a, I've been looking for you.’
Afterwards, Dre joined in with his own story about Stevie.“No, Stevie Wonder calls me like at 5:00 a.m. and he's asking me to text him. I'm like, ‘what the…fuck?’ … I hang up the phone, I'm like, ‘what the fuck this n***a just say? Stevie wants me to text him,” Dre explained.
ComplexCon Las Vegas kicked off yesterday (Nov. 16) with Playboi Carti, Metro Boomin, and Offset performing. Tonight, Travis Scott and Cactus Jack will wrap up the two day festival full of exclusive brand drops, live tapings of Complex shows, and more.
