Travis Scott's Cactus Jack Softball Classic Returns in 2025
Featuring Metro Boomin, Dave Chappelle, Teyana Taylor, and more
Metro Boomin and Dave Chappelle are just two of the iconic softball players that are set to appear at the third annual Cactus Jack Foundation HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic on Feb. 13.
The event, organized by Travis Scott, his Cactus Jack Foundation, and Project H.E.A.L., will take place at Daikin Park, home of the Houston Astros.
Its massive list of celebrity softball players features Barry Bonds, Teyana Taylor, Swae Lee, Amber Rose, Reggie Jackson, Tracy McGrady, Johnny Manziel, and more.
In addition to the event itself, there will be a second annual Cactus Jack Social Impact Village that’ll act as “an interactive hub hosting over 20 community and civic organizations, offering on-site resources for event guests” according to a press release. This village will also have a silent auction that features music and sports memorabilia.
Proceeds from purchasing tickets — which can be brought here — will go to the Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund that gives financial support to HBCU seniors and their final tuition fees.
The Cactus Jack Foundation HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic will span three days, kicking off on Feb. 11 with community-focused events in Houston. These include a charity pop-up art show at the Cact.Us Design Center and a youth clinic hosted by the Cactus Jack Foundation and Houston Astros Foundation at the Astros Youth Academy.
Last year’s event was hosted at Minute Maid Park in owntown Houston. Stars like Anthony Mackie, Lee, Taylor, Slim Thug, and Bun B, all joined the festivities — with Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud taking home the MVP for the night while leading his team to victory.
