Tyga Reveals His Mother Has Died in Heartfelt Tribute: ‘I Love You So Much’

Tyga’s mother has passed away.

The rapper revealed that his mother, Pasionaye Nicole Nguyen, died on Jan. 18. She was 53. He shared a touching tribute to her on Instagram.

“I been trying to understand and process why God takes the most meaningful and beautifulest people away from us,”he wrote. “But I know I’ll never get an answer that will fill the emptiness in my heart.”

“Can’t imagine life without you by my side. You were the best and most supportive person in my life, you always made things better when I felt at my lowest and worst,” he continued. “I would trade anything just to be able to be with you again.”

Tyga then expressed his belief that he’ll see her again in the future. “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. and I can’t wait for the day until we’re together again🕊️🕊️🕊️ I’ll see you soon and save me a spot right next to you in paradise💜,” he added.

No cause of death has been confirmed for his mother, but in one of the pictures in Tyga’s carousel full of images with her, she appeared to be wearing a hospital band on her arm.

Additional images in the carousel showcased a variety of fun mother and son moments that the duo shared such as hanging out while the rapper wore a Grinch costume, her unboxing a Chanel purse, and a screenshot of a message that she sent Tyga calling him the “most amazing gift in life.”

Tyga announced his mother’s death on the same day that the Notorious B.I.G.’s mother, Voletta Wallace, died.

TMZ reported that Wallace passed away in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania due to natural causes. She was 78 years old.
