Young Thug believes that Young Scooter’s cause of death is different from what the late rapper's autopsy report said this week.

Thug took to X to share his own beliefs on Tuesday. “Autopsy came back Street got shot,” wrote Thug, referencing Scooter’s “Street” nickname.

Future also commented on the autopsy report, writing, “I can hear you loud and clear my brother (street)...we got u kid."

Young Scooter’s death was ruled an “accident” by a report from the Fulton County Medical Examiner earlier this week. It states that the rapper died after a wooden piece punctured his right thigh and caused massive blood loss. The report also states that the injury was not a gunshot wound and that Scooter "injured himself on organic (wooden) fencing material or woody debris" from jumping over at least one fence.

After Thug and Future’s posts, the Atlanta Police released a statement saying that they were aware of inaccurate posts about the cause of Scooter’s death.

"While we understand that many people are saddened by his passing, it is important to recognize that Atlanta police officers neither discharged their firearms nor used any force against Mr. Bailey," the department said via X.

Scooter died on his 39th birthday after a dispute involving a weapon in the Lakewood Heights neighborhood of Atlanta. When police arrived at the scene, Scooter reportedly fled — along with another man — and sustained a leg injury while attempting to escape by jumping over fences.

After officers reportedly tried to provide aid at the scene, Scooter was transported to Grady Marcus Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead.

After his death, Demi Balnco, a reality star contestant on the show Baddies, went live on Instagram to address being treated unfairly by social media users since, according to TMZ, she allegedly called 911 in the situation that led to Scooter’s death.

Young Scooter's son also reacted to his father's death in a social media post earlier this week, placing the blame on the APD. "FUCK APD," wrote Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey Jr. on his Instagram Story.
