Watch Anderson .Paak Sing With Pharrell in New OTHERtone Clip

After breaking into the mainstream in 2016 with two excellent releases, Malibu and Yes Lawd!,Anderson .Paak is kicking off the new year by sitting down with Pharrell and Scott Vener for an interview on their OTHERtone Beats 1 radio show. Today, Beats 1 took to Twitter to share two preview clips from the interview ahead of its Sunday 3 p.m. EST airing.
The first clip features footage of .Paak and Pharrell busting into an a cappella cover of Thundercat's "Them Changes" after Vener tells the story of how he introduced .Paak and Thundercat to each other. .Paak sings happily while Pharrell beatboxes along with him. Vener watches the two artists as they nerd out about the song together.
In the other clip, Pharrell and Vener discuss their dream collaborations for .Paak. Vener says he would love to see .Paak make an album with Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, whom .Paak says he has met briefly. Pharrell brings up DJ Quik and Q-Tip, prompting .Paak to reveal that he has recently collaborated with both artists.
