UPDATED 7/29, 8:25 p.m. ET: Fanum announced that he plans to sue the New York Police Department after an officer pointed a gun at him and seized his car shortly after the Bronx Dominican Parade on Sunday.

The 26-year-old streamer was not arrested following the encounter with law enforcement, but his driver Walton was seen being placed in handcuffs before a police officer rode off with Fanum’s purple Lamborghini Urus.

Fanum shared updates to his Instagram Story on Monday afternoon saying he eventually got his vehicle back, claiming that he had a permit to drive through the parade route.

“For those asking, i got my urus back 4 hours after nypd glazed me and took it 😂😂 they just wanted to drive a lamb 🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂😂,” he wrote on IG.

“Ya decided to pull a gun on me and all them kids for what? 😂 & we had a permit to be in the parade. Then after NYPD carjacks me on stream, they pose up with my vehicle like a photoshoot 😂😂😂,” he continued. “Them suits on the way 🫡 i got bag and time 😂💯 lets really do it.”

“Might buy a bugatti after this 😂,” he added.

The NYPD confirmed to Complex that the vehicle was stopped “for driving without any license plates,” as seen in the video below.

“The driver and the vehicle were brought back to the 44 Precinct and the driver was released with a summons for unregistered vehicle,” a spokesperson from NYPD told Complex.

Fanum addressed the situation during a livestream on Monday, reiterating his intentions to bring the matter to court.

“My attorneys will be contacting you guys shortly. It was nice meeting you guys too, no bullshit,” he said. “You wanna carjack me, okay. You wanna tax me? I'm gonna tax you. No bullshit. Sorry, not sorry. We can't keep doing this, NYPD. … Stop glazing me, stop glazing everybody.”

Kai Cenat spoke out on his own stream, saying, "NYPD is a gang. Do you hear what I'm saying to you? NYPD be moving like a gang, and nobody will listen to me. ... Not even the GTA V cops do this shit, dude."

Cenat, who had his own run-in with the NYPD last year, also called for the officer's badge number.

Twitch streamer Fanum found himself in hot water with the police over the weekend.

In a video circulating online, the 26-year-old can be seen being stopped by the New York Police Department on Sunday during the Bronx Dominican Parade.

In a tense moment, Fanum, born Roberto Gonzalez, had a gun drawn on him by a police officer standing in front of his vehicle while the car was stopped at an intersection. The officer signals the passengers to step out of the car, as Fanum is heard saying, “Why he got that gun out?”

In a separate clip, Fanum’s driver is seen being placed in handcuffs. A police officer then gets into the car, a purple Lamborghini Urus, and begins to drive off.

Fanum had been streaming live from the parade earlier in the day, seemingly with his driver making his way through the parade route.

It’s not clear if the driver has been charged with any crimes, nor if Fanum and his other passengers were also arrested. Complex has reached out to the NYPD for comment and this story may be updated.
