IShowSpeed briefly became the mayor of Lima, Peru during his tour of the country for his South American tour.

Following his visits to Argentina, Brazil, and Chile, the 20-year-old streamer arrived in Peru on Monday, and as expected, brought out massive crowds of fans to catch a glimpse of him.

Speed’s tour of Peru’s capital city included a stop at the Gamarra, one of Lima’s busiest commercial districts, according to Peruvian newspaper La República. While there, he tried all kinds of Peruvian delicacies including their signature ceviche, fried cuy (guinea pig), salchipapa, Inca Kola soda, and the iconic “King Kong” dessert.

However, one of the standout moments from Speed’s trip was meeting with Lima’s mayor, Rafael López Aliaga, at the city’s municipal building where he conferred Speed an ambassador of both the city and the country.

Mayor Aliaga presented him with a decree making him the mayor of Lima for one hour before Speed successfully negotiated it up to two.
