The agency previously represented Biden from 2017 to 2020 when he published a book and toured nationally.
Joe Biden signed with Creative Artists Agency as he kicks off his post-presidential career.
The talent agency announced their signing of the former president on Monday, with CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett saying they are “profoundly honored” to partner with 82-year-old Biden.
“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” said Lovett, per the Hollywood Reporter. “His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility.”
CAA previously represented Biden from 2017 until his 2020 presidential win against Donald Trump. During that time, Biden published the memoir Promise Me, Dad, which went on to become a No. 1 New York Times bestseller. In support of the book, Biden went on his 42-date American Promise Tour that sold 85,000 tickets nationwide.
The prestigious talent agency, known for representing prominent political figures, already works with Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s joint Higher Ground Productions and supports other Democratic politicians like Joe Manchin and Beto O’Rourke.
