Katt Williams Says He’s ‘Prepared’ for Safety Risks Following His 2024 ‘Club Shay Shay’ Interview
Katt Williams' interview with Shannon Sharpe garnered over 88 million views since the episode aired on YouTube last year.
After opening the portal last year, Katt Williams says he’s “prepared” for potential safety risks.
The 53-year-old comedian shook up Hollywood on its head with his controversial interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast in early 2024, where he declared that “big dick deviants” would catch hell that year and that “all lies will be exposed.” He notably addressed Hollywood heavyweights such as Kevin Hart, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Tyler Perry, and others.
In a new interview with Theo Von for his This Past Weekend podcast, Williams reflected on his past comments while also acknowledging the risks involved in being so candid about the elites of the world.
“I'm honored to get to say the things that I say when I'm saying them and because you know that I operate from a positive first standpoint in all things,” Williams said around the 1 hour and 15-minute mark in the video linked above.
“I assume that it's going to work out for the best, and I understand that if it is for the worst then I'm prepared to handle that as well,” he added.
Further into the interview, Williams expanded his thoughts on the Illuminati. Last year, he claimed that he had been invited to “an Illuminati thing” with Ludacris, which the rapper quickly denied over a freestyle.
“What it was that I was attempting to do was impossible. So before I do this interview, there is no Illuminati. It's just a joke, it's just something that crazy people talk about,” Williams said of the alleged secret society. “There's no such thing as our side, and God's side—none of that is even real.”
“I gotta come and make it real. I have to come and say, 'no no no no, everybody's not the same.' So that's why when I said that, nobody came out and went, 'That's not true, I'm on God's side,’” he continued. “The conversation was to show that there are spiritual things going on in the world and that there are things that are bigger than just coincidence.”
Although he might have been joking about a political elite secretly governing the world, Williams believes that social media sites are being “controlled and regulated.”
“If it exists it will be controlled and regulated, that's just a fact,” he said. “Whatever it is, that's the game. The game is to how quick can we get this new thing controlled and regulated, right? And we are counting on them to provide this platform that we use to communicate on, right?”
“If we understood that the internet itself is a government function then how much privacy would you expect?” he concluded.
