Watch Kim Kardashian Become Besties With Tesla Optimus Robot

It seems like Kim Kardashian has friends in high-tech places.

On Monday, the 44-year-old reality star showed off her brand-new Tesla Optimus Robot on her social media accounts and tested its abilities. In true Kim fashion, she had the humanoid robot blow kisses and even beat it at a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Kim was also impressed by its ability to complete a heart-shaped gesture with its hand, as well as its suggestion to go for a run or dance.

On her Instagram Story, the SKIMS founder also brought along the Optimus Robot when checking out the Tesla Cybercab. According to Engadget, the fully autonomous vehicle was first announced in October and has no physical steering wheels or pedals.

Kardashian isn’t the first celebrity to interact with a Tesla robot. 2 Chainz and Swae Lee got some face time with the robots at the company’s “We, Robot” event in October, although it was reported that an employee for the automotive company was controlling the robot remotely.

Per Gizmodo, Elon Musk said that the Optimus Robots will retail between $20,000 to $30,000 with plans to release them in 2025. It’s unclear if Kim bought the robot, if it was gift, or if she just got to personally test one out.
