50 Cent Says He Didn't Get Andrew Schulz's Kendrick Lamar Joke

Fif suggested that, while he's a fan of Schulz, he doesn't get why he said he would "make love" to K Dot.

Right at the start of the latest episode of Flagrant, 50 Cent asked host Andrew Schulz why he joked about sexually assaulting Kendrick Lamar.

Fif joined Schulz and his co-host Akaash Singh to talk about everything from Jay-Z to his movie career in movie and TV, but they almost immediately got into the comedian's controversial remarks made in response to what he perceived as a diss on K Dot's "Wacced Out Murals." "I'm a fan [of your work], but I don't understand what got into you that made you say you was going to fuck Kendrick?" 50 Cent said at the top of the episode.

"Whoa, whoa, I said make sweet love," Schulz responded with a laugh, which prompted 50 Cent to look directly into the camera apologize. "I apologize guys," 50 Cent said. "This is from years and years of trauma, this comes from abuse from the neighbourhood I grew up in. This comes from a lot of different things. 'Make sweet love,' I heard 'fuck' when you said it. I don't know why I registered it that way. And look, for people to write petitions behind it is crazy."

50 Cent said that he loves to follow stand-up comedians, because they're essentially "invincible" to criticism. "When I watch them, I look and I go, 'There's no point that you could do something that actually damages what they developed,'" he said. "Katt Williams can fight a 15-year-old kid that is his height and not do so well, right? But he's still Katt Williams! It does no damage to Katt Williams, he's still that guy."

On an earlier episode of Flagrant, Schulz said that he could sexually assault Kendrick Lamar if they ever shared a prison cell.

"I would make love to him and there's nothing he could do about it," he said. "Just Kendrick Lamar, I would make love to him. And the only thing that he could do is decide if it's consensual or not. ... I would go so far as to say he couldn't stop most people on the planet from having sex with him. ... He's talking a lot of shit, but if it came down to it I could put him on my lap, I could feed him a bottle."

The comments were widely criticized on social media, including from TDE president Terrence "Punch" Henderson and Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr., who called Schulz a "weird ass n***a." Schulz refused to apologize for the jokes and doubled down on social media, including with a post trolling Meek Mill after he called him out.
