He suggested that creators should try to keep full control of their content, though.

Kai Cenat has revealed that he was approached by some of the biggest video streaming platforms over his Streamer University event.

During a recent Twitch stream, which was filmed from his office during the huge live-streamed creator bootcamp, Cenat suggested that Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Tubi all expressed an interest. "One thing I learned with this shit, bro... A lot of people been talking about how this shit should be on Netflix," he said. "Or Amazon Prime should buy this, Tubi should buy it. Somebody higher and they do it crazy. We already been getting talks with different people."

While he stopped short of confirming that the three platforms wanted to bring Streamer University to their platforms, Cenat implied that there have been talks and he thinks creators should keep as much control of their content as possible.

"With an idea like this so original, you gotta keep it where it's at," he said. "I want y'all to learn something, bro. Y'all channels, and who you are as a person... This y'all idea, this is your guy's stuff. Treat your platform as you would treat as you would treat other platforms. Shout out to all these big platforms, they have subscriptions, bro. Twitch, I think of it all like this: If you gonna sub up, you gonna get some good shit. Y'all have the opportunity to make y'all platforms as big as other platforms."

Cenat is arguably the most popular streamer in the world right now, and his Streamer University creator bootcamp was one of his biggest events yet. Hosted at an actual college campus in Akron, Ohio, the event saw up-and-coming creators come together for a three-day crash course with classes hosted by other popular streamers, including DDG, Duke Dennis, and cookingwithkya.
