Kim Kardashian Says She Tried the Salmon Sperm Facial Jennifer Aniston Also Sampled

On the latest episode of Hulu's The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian admitted that she tried the salmon sperm facial that Jennifer Aniston also tried.

As reported by Page Six, the 43-year-old discussed the anti-aging procedure with her mother Kris Jenner on the episode. "I got a salmon sperm facial with salmon sperm injected into my face," she told her mother, which was met with a surprised reaction. She didn't explain whether she saw any benefits from it, but she's not the first celebrity to announce they gave the treatment a try.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal last year, Friends star Jennifer Aniston said that she gave the treatment a go. "First of all, I said, 'Are you serious? How do you get a salmon's sperm?'" she said. Aniston suggested she didn't keep it up because she didn't see any benefits from it.

Salmon sperm for anti-aging has garnered popularity in South Korea in recent years because it promises to increase cell turnover, improve pigmentation, and produce more collagen. A clinical study from 2017 showed that the ingredient has potentially promising uses, but there's still no solid evidence that it's great for skincare products.

Kim Kardashian has admitted before that she's willing to give any anti-aging treatments a try. In an interview with The New York Times in 2022, she suggested she would even try a treatment that would require her to "eat poop every single day."

Her latest admission isn't the craziest thing she's said on this season of The Kardashians, though. Last month, she got into a heated argument with her sister Khloé and compared her to Brendan Fraser's morbidly obese character Charlie in the 2022 drama The Whale. "The guy won’t leave his house cause he’s, you know," said Kim, to which Khloé asked, "I'm Brendan Fraser?"
