Pete Davidson Says He Was 'Embarrassed' by Obsession With His Penis Size

Pete Davidson says he was "embarrassed" by the public response after his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande joked that his penis was 10 inches long.

On The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God asked the actor and comedian about his time on Saturday Night Live, when he frequently made headlines because of his dating life.

Davidson said he didn't love the attention.

"I brought a lot of pop culture into the show, like I made it [a] sort of tabloidly, trendy thing unintentionally," he explained around the 18-minute mark of the video above. "Also I was embarrassed by it because... no one talked about any work I was doing. They were just like, 'Oh that's the fuck stick.' And that hurt so much."

He said that some of the cast and crew, plus other people in his life, realized how "sad" and "embarrassed" he was about the attention.

"No one was outrightly mean by any means," he added.

Charlamagne asked what he was embarrassed by, saying, "You was banging a lot of hot chicks and you had a 10-inch penis."

Davidson paused for a moment and laughed, "You know, on paper, that sounds great." He said that the sexualization made him uncomfortable.

"It's embarrassing, 'cause, you know... It's Hollywood. Everybody fucks everyone," he said. "Everybody's dating everybody. Why are they focusing on me? It's not 'cause I'm Glen Powell handsome, you know? I'm just like this dude that tells dick jokes and is a drug addict."

He said that all the attention made it difficult to navigate relationships, but he doesn't want to victimize himself.

"The sexualization of me, like... if that was a girl, you know, like there'll be a march for it," he joked. "Seriously, you're just talking about my dick all day... People do that on the internet... [with] let's say Sydney Sweeney or whatever. But there's no like radio hosts or news people being like, 'This guy with the dick,' they don't talk about girls like that professionally."

He said that he had people point his penis out on the street.

Asked where it all started, he said it must've been one of various publications that commented on his dating life and suggested he had "big dick energy" because he was dating people out of his league.

"Then someone confirmed it," Davidson said, and Charlamagne asked who.

"They'll figure it out," the comedian said. And, just to clarify, he said he doesn't "think" his penis is actually 10 inches long.
