'That's So Raven' Actor Rondell Sheridan Shares Fundraiser to Cover Medical Bills

Actor Rondell Jerome Sheridan, best known for portraying the father of Raven-Symoné's character on the sitcom That's So Raven, has revealed that he's launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover medical costs following an unfortunate diagnosis.

"Hey friends, it's Rondell Sheridan here," the 66-year-old actor said in a video shared on Instagram, which was recorded from a hospital bed. "On April 10th, I was on the road and got sick. They thought it was gastric. I got home on the 13th and immediately went to the hospital at North Ridge. I was told it's pancreatitis."

He said that he went through "tons of tests" and was in the hospital for over a week. He was released and thought he was set to fully recover, but later found out his pancreas had become inflamed.

"I didn't realize I will be out of work for quite some time," he continued. "I'm setting up this GoFundMe to help with some of my medical bills and just expenses. If you have anything that you could donate, I'd gladly appreciate it. Thank you so much."

As of publication, Sheridan has already raised over $23,000 of the $35,000 target. The campaign was launched on his behalf by friend Isabel Beyoso, who shared that he's been unable to work since April 12, 2025, and "will not be able to return to work for the [foreseeable] future." He is expected to be "mostly bedridden" while he recovers and receives further treatment.

Outside of his work on That's So Raven and its spin-offs, Cory in the House and Raven's Home, Sheridan has also worked as a director.
