Sarunas Jackson Denies Ex-Girlfriend Brittney Bell's Allegations of Abuse
Bell alleged that Jackson hit her during an argument about infidelity.
Insecure actor Sarunas Jackson is denying his ex-girlfriend Brittney Bell's allegations that he was physically violent with her.
In a statement shared with The Shade Room, as seen below, Jackson claimed he was never violent towards his ex-girlfriend or any other woman. "I did not have a physical altercation with Brittney in the way it has been portrayed," he said. "I have never been violent toward her or any woman in my life. Brittney has a history of experiencing abuse. I, too, witnessed abuse in my childhood, causing me to have a significant caution and sensitivity surrounding this issue."
He described her allegations as "false" and said that he is "overly cautious" of his "presentation and physical potential" as "a 6'8" Black man." He said the argument that Bell alleged led to physical violence as a misunderstanding after she received "false" news from someone.
"Brittney became angry with my dishonesty and responded with physical confrontation," he continued. "In an effort to apprehend her and de-escalate the situation, there was physical contact. However, at no point was this an act of violence, intimidation, or control. My only intent was to protect myself and prevent further escalation. While I understand how my physical presence can be perceived, I am not a punching bag. I have never used my size or physical strength to intimidate, harm, or violate a woman."
He alleged that he has since spoken with his ex-girlfriend, who "apologized and denied any form of domestic abuse occurring in our relationship." Jackson said they "expressed mutual apologies" for letting the matter unfold publicly. "I have deep respect for Bittney, and she will always hold a special place in my heart," he added.
Brittney Bell alleged that Sarunas Jackson struck her during an argument after she was told that he got another woman pregnant. Actress DomiNque Perry, the mother of Jackson's 6-year-old daughter, retweeted a video of Bell's Instagram Story where she shared the allegations. "You also told me a time you had to feed our daughter because he didn't, and him making a really dark sick joke about her being 'ret*rded' knowing she has autism," Perry wrote in the tweet. "I'll stop here."
In his conversation with The Shade Room, he denied that he "neglected" his daughter. "While her mother and I have our differences, I hold deep respect for her as the mother of my child," he said. "My daughter is not forgotten; she is prioritized. Her needs, sensitivities, and genius are not only acknowledged but embraced."
Tesha Gamino, the woman who alleged that Jackson got her pregnant, also chimed in following Bell's allegations and claimed that he pressured her into getting an abortion.
