Following the news that the Wayans brothers plan to reboot the Scary Movie franchise, comedian Tra Rags is officially begging to be cast.

Tra Rags, full name Traquan Ragsdale, recently appeared at No. 4 on Complex's list of the funniest people on the internet. The YouTuber suggested that he'd be a perfect fit for the sixth entry in the horror parody franchise.

In a video shared on TikTok, Tra appeared in front of a post announcing the brothers' return to the series with his arms crossed and a smile on his face.

"Listen, that was my way of saying I need to be in this movie," he said. "Don't y'all think I should be in this movie?"

He implored viewers to reach out to Keenen Ivory Wayans, who directed and wrote the first two Scary Movie films, any way they can.

"I don't even know if this n***a know who I am, but if he don't, make sure he knows who Tra Rags is. Send him skits of me. Tell him I need to be in this movie! C'mon, y'all see the vision?

"I don't care if y'all gotta email him, DM him, send him a pigeon with a note," Tra continued. "Get something to him from me. I wanna be in the movie."

Co-writers Marlon and Shawn Wayans also starred in the first two installments. The upcoming sixth film will be the brothers' first movie together in 20 years.

Marlon Wayans celebrated the news with a post on Instagram that showed him posing alongside Ghostface.

"WE’RE BACK!!! After nearly 20 years, the Wayans brothers are finally going to give the fans what they’ve been asking for… a return to the SCARY MOVIE franchise!" he wrote in the caption. "We’re looking forward to having fun on the big screen again."
